On the farm

What a stay here is like

The farm is twenty acres of hill and pasture outside Fennville, and much of what there is to do here is outside. There is a red covered arena up on the rise, a wrap-around porch to sit on, mown grass to walk across and a vineyard along the ridge. The herd is in the field beyond the fence, usually within sight of wherever you have set your chair down.

At the campground

The half-acre campground on our 20-acre horse farm is peaceful and quiet. It includes a fire pit with wood provided, patio furniture, and several hammocks in a beautiful aspen grove, as well as gorgeous views of vineyards, woods, and a herd of 8 horses. You are likely going to be visited by the two well-behaved farm dogs (Rosie and Jasper) and Luna, the cat, during your stay.

A net hammock slung between two trees at the Thrive Nook campsite, with horses grazing in the pasture beyond.
Around twenty-five people sitting in a wide circle of folding chairs on the sand floor of the covered arena, a horse standing among them and a dog lying at the edge of the circle, with the pasture and the vines visible through the open sides.

Peaceful space, for powerful work.
