An aerial view of the farm in autumn: the long red covered arena and the barn either side of the gravel drive, with fields and woods in fall colour around them.

Our Farm

We are located at Red Horse Ranch, a twenty-acre horse farm in historic Fennville, Michigan, adjacent to Douglas and Saugatuck.

We are nestled in an agricultural community along the shore of Lake Michigan, with rolling hills, fruit farms, artists, wineries, cider makers, and breweries. There are many places to stay and delightful restaurants and cafes for food and drink. Participants engage with us through individual sessions, educational workshops, retreats, or custom-tailored programs.

The farm seen from the drive: a long red-roofed barn and arena, a white farmhouse, fenced paddocks and open grass under a clear blue sky.
The farmhouse on the rise at the top of the hill, with its porch and pines beside it, seen from the grass below.

Our Location: 6169 122nd Ave., Fennville, MI. The third driveway east of 62nd Street has a Red Horse sign. Follow that driveway several hundred yards past the barns, around the grapes, and down the hill, where you’ll see a parking area, arena, and the “Treehouse Retreat.”

Land acknowledgement

“We acknowledge that the land the city of Fennville occupies is the ancestral and rightful home of these tribes: Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish, Ottawa, Chippewa, Pottawatomi — the Three Fires Council.”

The painting also carries the words Ganges, Great Lakes, Neshnabek, “original people”, and “Support Gun Lake Tribe”.

Transcribed from the painting, which is the only place this acknowledgement has existed until now.

A painting of a heron standing in water beneath a purple moon, lettered with the Red Horse land acknowledgement: "We acknowledge that the land the city of Fennville occupies is the ancestral and rightful home of these tribes — Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish, Ottawa, Chippewa, Pottawatomi, the Three Fires Council." Also lettered: Ganges, Great Lakes, Neshnabek, "original people", and "Support Gun Lake Tribe".
