The Red Horse Porch Party is an outdoor event down on the farm in Fennville with art, live music, food, and drink. See our herd, participate in collaborative art stations, view the gallery show, soak up the spring weather and fresh air. We’ll be serving food from Farmhouse Deli and beer and wine from local producers. We’ll have an art auction and raffle where you can bid on local art, gift card bundles, and unique experiences. Plus, a live music performance from Great Lakes Brass kicking off 5 pm.
This event is FREE to attend! Donations are welcome, including the raffle, auction, and Horses for Mental Health Campaign. Proceeds from food, drink, Art Club gallery show, and merch all help support!

All advance registrations before 8 pm on May 15th will be entered into a separate drawing to win cool $100 in Red Horse swag.

Items in the Auction will be available to bid on, and the artworks in the Gallery Show at Juniper’s House are up for sale. We will also have a raffle where you can enter to win local prizes and experiences!
RAFFLE
We have raffle tickets for sale @ $5.00 per ticket. Prizes can be viewed online, but tickets can only be purchased in-person. Drawings will be staggered throughout the evening.

GREAT LAKES BRASS
Founded and led by Red Horse’s own, Fred Bueltmann – Great Lakes Brass draws from New Orleans traditions, where brass bands express the pulse of communities; celebrating life, mourning loss, and looking ahead. Reverence for history is intertwined with ongoing creative adaptation, and our pledge to play it forward.
Trumpet, trombone, and saxophone play familiar melodies driven by sousaphone and percussion. On the street or the stage, our music moves.

GALLERY SHOW
A collaborative Gallery Show with art from Saugatuck Douglas Art Club members displayed and for sale inside Juniper’s Retreat House, a work of art in and of itself!
Proceeds benefit both the artists and Red Horse!
FOOD & DRINK
Farmhouse Deli will be serving their delicious pork tacos, vegan tacos and street corn salad with rice and beans from 5 pm – 9 pm.

The Porch Party is one of the fundraising initiatives that make up the Spring Forward Support Drive, which also highlights Mental Health Awareness Month. Funds raised from this event will support several Red Horse programs in many ways, including: H.E.Y. Horses Empowering Youth, Horses for Hospitality, & Herd Support.
We have event sponsorships, and auction sponsorships starting at $500, and category sponsorships at $1,000.
